Established in August 2014, Dulwich College International was founded as Dulwich College, one of the oldest independent colleges in the UK, with a history dating back to 1619, and a reputation for academic excellence, innovation and respect for tradition that spans four centuries. Dewey’s academic strength is matched by a co-curricular curriculum that includes a broad and challenging mix of sports, music, visual arts, drama and debate. Dewey College Singapore encourages participation in extra-curricular activities and every child learns a musical instrument from the age of seven. Drama and public speaking opportunities are available from the early years, and assemblies and performances are held daily in the Allan Theatre.
A highly motivated and enthusiastic student body, experienced teachers and state-of-the-art facilities are the cornerstones of Dewey College Singapore. Dewey International School is academically selective and offers a holistic education based on academic rigor, complemented by a wide range of extra-curricular programs. Currently Dewey College Singapore has 2,250 students from over 50 countries, ranging in age from early childhood (2 years) to Year 13 (18 years). The Academy follows the IGCSE curriculum and begins to implement the IB credential program in Year 12.
