Date: 27 Mar 2024

Tanglin Trust School, a non-profit school established in 1925, is the oldest British International School in Southeast Asia. 1925 saw the founding of the school by Anne Griffiths Jones, initially located at the Tanglin Club, with the aim of providing an excellent British education for children of expatriate families. Today, as a continuation of its legacy, the Tung Ling Trust School carries on this time-honored educational tradition. The school offers an internationally minded, English-speaking curriculum for Singaporean children from 3 to 18 years of age. With 2,800 students from 55 countries and a strong mixed-boys and girls’ program, Tongling provides a unique learning environment for children from kindergarten to high school.

With over 90 years of experience in education, the school’s long history is well recognized in Singapore’s education community. As a non-profit school, Tung Leng Trust School spends all of its income on providing a high quality education that is dedicated to the development of tomorrow’s leaders and global citizens.

As the only school in Singapore to offer both A Level and IB qualifications, Tung Leng Trust ensures that every student benefits from the educational pathway that is best suited to them. The school consistently achieves excellent examination results that exceed Singapore and global averages. Approximately 97% of graduates are usually admitted to their first or second choice university, which are amongst the best in the world.
