Singapore American School

Located in the Woodlands area of northern Singapore, Singapore American School (SAS) is committed to providing each student with an exemplary American educational experience with an international perspective. Founded in 1956 as one of the first foreign-system schools in Singapore, with an initial 100 students in colonial housing, SAS has grown to over 3,900 students on a 36-acre campus and is the largest single-campus international school in the world. SAS is an independent, not-for-profit, co-educational, boys’ and girls’ school that offers an American curriculum for grades PreK-12. The school offers a U.S.-based curriculum for grades Pre-K through 12. With students from 50 countries, 65% of whom hold U.S. passports, SAS offers traditional academic subjects complemented by an enriched curriculum of foreign languages, art, music, dance, physical education, sports, technology, and community service.
