Date: 22 Mar 2024

On January 25, the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Singapore signed the Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Singapore on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Ordinary Passports in Beijing. This means that from February 9, 2024 (the first day of the Chinese New Year in the lunar calendar), holders of ordinary passports from China and Singapore will be able to enter each other’s countries without visas, providing a more convenient means of study, travel and business contacts.

With the implementation of the Visa Waiver Policy, more and more families are choosing to bring their children to Singapore and take the opportunity to study here. Singapore is renowned for its quality education system, where children can enjoy not only the city’s unique life and delicious specialties, but also a rich educational experience.
